Frame and axle

The Profi frame is built on a torsion-resistant central spar of fine-grained steel. An integrated, extensible frame lengthens the flat bed by up to 2,000 mm for different timber lengths, and the stanchions and axle bogie slide along the spar to set the weight distribution. The bogie axle runs on lubricated, adjustable spherical bearings, with up to 394 mm of pendulum travel to cross branches and obstacles.

Draw bar and hitch

The pivoting draw bar has a large steering angle, up to ±750 mm from the centre, with two hydraulic cylinders giving 23.6 kNm of pivoting moment, so a laden trailer can be turned uphill. It comes top- or bottom-hitched, on adjustable spherical bearings, and with an independent oil supply the piston pump is encapsulated above or below the draw bar.

Brakes and stowage

A brake system acting on four wheels is standard, hydraulic or pneumatic depending on the size, with encapsulated diaphragm brake cylinders. LED lights in the frame fold in for forest work. A high box for brush and a floor pan for branches and trunks are available, and chainsaws, fuel cans, straps and tools have their own holders and storage bin.

Drive systems

uniDRIVE, a hydraulic wheel drive with up to 2 t of thrust per wheel, supplied from the trailer’s own oil supply or the tractor, is available on the P11+, P13 and P15. powerDRIVE, a hydraulic wheel hub drive with up to 6.1 t of thrust, is available on all four: proportional drive forwards and backwards, compatible with every brake system, switched off automatically when braking, with freewheel for road travel and an uphill assist, controlled from the tractor cab.
