Power infrastructure rarely goes where the ground is easy. Pylon and overhead-line routes cross open hillside, hydro schemes follow steep watercourses, and turbine and transmitter sites often have no road access. Every job needs the same things: foundations dug and drilled, materials brought in, and people put safely at height, often on ground a conventional excavator, rig or access platform can’t reach.
Exc@v8 supplies walking excavators, excavator drilling equipment and an all-terrain access platform with 42 metres of vertical uplift that sets up on slopes other platforms can’t attempt. Where there’s no power on site, we supply Dynaset onboard generators that run off the carrier’s hydraulics. Tell us the site and the job, and we’ll match the machine to it.
