HSM HY 32 L-SG-SP Traction Winch
The HSM HY 32 L-SG-SP is a traction winch for steep slopes. It pulls a constant 70 kN and holds 240 m of 14 mm rope, and has a second rope drum for logging that pulls 160 kN on its lower layer.
- A constant 70 kN of tractive force
- 240 m of 14 mm rope
- A second rope drum for logging: 160 kN on the lower layer, 64 kN on the upper
- Stepless tension adjustment by potentiometer
- HBC-Patrol-S radio remote control

Overview
An auxiliary traction winch gives the machine rope-supported drive on steep ground, and together with traction belts makes a system for careful timber harvesting on slopes. It is a driving aid: while the machine works with the traction winch, it must still stand safely without the rope’s support.
Exc@v8 supplies and supports HSM forestry machines and their winches in the UK. See the other HSM traction winches.
