Overview
The Woody WH60-1 is Konrad’s all-round head for hardwood and heavy mountain timber, on a further improved frame design.
Traction and handling
Its four feed rollers are driven hydraulically, with a mechanical differential lock, for traction in hardwood and heavy mountain wood alike. Konrad’s frame geometry is built for handling hardwood and crooked trees, and a parallel bar on the feed roller arms balances uneven stem surfaces, so the feed wheels keep their grip whatever the stem diameter.
On steep ground
The frame bracket improves gripping on steep slopes and keeps the frame relatively long in the tilt-up position, which makes controlled felling of big trees easier.
Standard equipment
An automatic chain tensioner, a photo sensor and the Konrad endless rotator come as standard.
Exc@v8 supplies and supports Konrad harvester heads in the UK and Ireland.
