Overview
With HSM’s xyControl, the operator steers the movement of the crane tip directly, and the controller works the individual hydraulic cylinders to follow it. The operator can switch between conventional boom control and xyControl at the press of a button.
The six telescope settings let the operator adapt the control to different harvesting situations and timber assortments. The control damps the end positions of all the joints, and has slope adjustment and a speed adjustment that depends on the range.
