Bavarian forestry winches since 1945

Schlang & Reichart was founded in 1945 in Marktoberdorf, Bavaria, by Franz Schlang and Anton Reichart, starting out designing forestry winches. Over 80 years on, it is one of the oldest German manufacturers still active in forestry.

The range has grown from that original winch into forestry trailers and accessories for the Unimog — the winch remains the core of the business, with the trailer and Unimog lines built around the same forestry-contractor customer.
