Konrad Liftliner LL40-2 Carriage
The Konrad Liftliner LL40-2 is a radio-controlled, diesel-powered carriage for cable crane systems, with its own 40 kN hoisting winch, so it can lift and lower loads while it travels along the skyline.

Overview
The Liftliner LL40-2 carries its own hoisting winch, so loads can be lifted and lowered while the carriage moves along the skyline. That makes thinning work gentler and more efficient, and lets the logs be placed precisely at the landing. Because the hoisting winch is separate, the main line and haul-back line attached to the carriage only have to pull the carriage.
Skyline clamp
The skyline clamp is only switched when the rope brake is triggered, or by hand, so the LL40-2 works with practically no wear on the main line or the skyline.
Radio remote control
The remote control has a display with fault diagnosis and the operating data of the diesel engine and hydraulics, and shows the radio frequency and signal strength. Every setting can be made from it, and it is light with a high battery capacity. It works with all Konrad machines on KFS-20 or KFS-16.

Downhill, the Konrad Mounty tower yarder runs the Liftliner in the haul-back system.
