Drill

Drilling work on a civils or groundworks site — rock bolting, soil nailing, ground anchors, piling holes, or breaking rock near buildings and services — usually means bringing in a dedicated rig or accepting the limits of handheld tools. Excavator-mounted equipment changes that: the carrier already on site becomes the drill rig. The machine types here are excavator drill rigs, stone drills and drill-and-split attachments, which drill a line of holes and then split the rock hydraulically, giving a blasting-free alternative where explosives aren’t permitted.

Exc@v8 supplies Wimmer’s drilling range and pairs it with Menzi Muck walking excavators where the drilling position is steep or hard to reach. The right set-up depends on ground, hole depth and the carrier’s hydraulics, so tell us the job and we’ll match the rig to it.
