Overview
The Woody WH50-1 is a versatile harvester head that combines the manoeuvrability of its predecessor with the engineering of the larger Woody heads.
Frame and delimbing
The grapple frame is designed to take an optional top saw without losing frame stability. Both movable wing knives sit directly behind the fixed top knife, so they follow the stem closely as it is delimbed.
Control
Konrad’s KTC control sets the feed roller and knife pressure for the diameter and tree species, and the diameter-controlled cross cut follows the bucking instructions automatically, saving time on every stem. An automatic chain tensioner extends the life of the saw bar, and a photo sensor speeds up the processing of pre-cut wood. The Konrad endless rotator is standard.
