Built for soft and wet ground on Firestone 54 × 37-25 tyres, 940 mm wide, with a 185 kW six-cylinder Volvo Penta engine (210 kW optional) and an 11 t payload. The wide tyres give less ground pressure than 700-series tyres with tracks and leave shallower ruts on wet ground; without tracks, the BigFoot drives faster and uses less fuel than a tracked machine, and carries significantly less soil onto paved forest roads. For the wettest ground it takes tracks up to 1,340 mm wide on special bunks.
