Radio-controlled winches for forestry and construction

Tiger Seilwinden traces its roots back to 1700 as a blacksmith, building its first winch in 1950 and growing since into a world leader in winch technology. Production today runs from a facility exceeding 6,000 square metres in Austria.

Tiger’s winches are built around control and terrain adaptability: complete radio control of the system, powered cable feed-out with adjustable ejection speed, infinitely variable cable feed height, fully proportional braking, and a straw-line system for pulling cable up steep slopes. A hydraulically folding skid plate adds ground clearance on uneven ground — the kind of detail that matters when the winch itself has to work the terrain, not just the load.

Exc@v8 is the sole UK importer of Tiger, supplying the full winch range with local support.
