Frame

The logLINE frame is built on a torsion-resistant central spar of fine-grained steel. An integrated, extensible frame lengthens the flat bed by up to 1,500 mm, and every stanchion extends sideways by 300 mm, adding 0.5 m² of bed area.

Draw bar and hitch

The draw bar is bottom-hitched, on adjustable spherical bearings, with a large steering angle (up to ±860 mm from the centre) and two hydraulic cylinders, so a laden trailer can be turned uphill. On the L16 and L19, an additional cylinder turns the draw bar into a suspension and tilt system that levels the flat bed and keeps the crane column vertical on slopes. With an independent oil supply, the piston pump is concealed above or below the draw bar.

Axle and brakes

The bogie axle runs on adjustable spherical bearings with up to 360 mm of pendulum travel, and the underside is smooth, with cables and hoses concealed, so it passes over trunks and branches without damage. A pneumatically actuated brake acting on all four wheels is standard, with encapsulated diaphragm cylinders. The LED lights are protected by a plexiglass panel, and two lockable storage bins hold chainsaws, fuel cans and straps.

powerDRIVE

The optional powerDRIVE hydraulic wheel hub drive gives up to 6.1 t of thrust, with proportional drive forwards and backwards, a hill start assist, automatic switch-off when braking, freewheel for road travel and control from the tractor cab; Pfanzelt notes that the figures depend on the hydraulic oil quantity and pressure.
