PTH Front Grader
The PTH Front Grader turns a tractor or wheel loader into a motor grader for building and maintaining roads, paths and verges. It mounts on the front, leaving the rear free for a compactor, and comes in two sizes: the Speed Grader for carriers from 6 t and the compact Speedy from 2 t.

PTH Speed Grader
The bigger of the two, for carriers from 6 t and around 130 hp. It takes a 3,000 or 3,600 mm blade with 600 mm of side shift and 550 mm of lift above grade, and it's the only size that can carry a front blade.
- Carrier
- From 6 t
- Power required
- From approx. 130 hp
- Blade length
- 3,000 or 3,600 mm
- Dead weight
- Approx. 4,400 kg
PTH Speedy
The compact one, for smaller tractors and wheel loaders from 2 t and around 80 hp. It has a 3,000 mm blade and weighs about 2,100 kg, less than half as much as the Speed Grader.

A motor grader on your carrier
The PTH Front Grader is a grader attachment that does a motor grader’s job from the front of a tractor, wheel loader or other carrier. It removes and spreads material, levels the surface and cuts profiles such as a cross-slope, so you can build, maintain and renovate roads and paths without bringing in a separate grader. There are two sizes: the Speed Grader for carriers from 6 t and around 130 hp, and the compact Speedy from 2 t and around 80 hp.
- Road building and maintenance
- Verge maintenance and verge profiling
- Forest roads, alpine paths and cycle paths
- Road and path renovation, and fine grading
- Construction sites

Front mounting
With the grader on the front, the back of the carrier is free for a plate compactor, so you can grade and compact in one pass. The driver also gets a clear view of the working area. The grader goes on with a quick-coupling system (an adapter plate for your carrier is an option) and travels on a low-loader with the rest of your attachments.

Construction and control
The front carriage is built from engineering steel for fatigue strength, with a full frame, a double ball-bearing slewing ring and a strong front axle whose wheels turn through 360°. The driver controls everything from the seat with one joystick, over CAN bus and a load-sensing hydraulic block: the articulated steering (45°), blade rotation, side shift and blade tilt. The blade’s cutting angle sets precisely, the feed flap adjusts hydraulically, and the blade has a replaceable wear rail and side wear protection. It runs on 12 or 24 V.

Options
The options are a scarifier bar, fixed or hydraulic; side discharge plates, left and right, fixed or hydraulic; a mounting kit for Trimble and Leica machine control; a front blade for the Speed Grader; a hydraulic steering aid; work lights; an adapter plate for your carrier; and a special RAL paint finish.
