Overview
The PTH Excavator Crusher EC-L 1400 is a stone crusher, stone cutter and forestry mulcher in one attachment for excavators of 10 to 25 tonnes, with a 1,400 mm working width. It works in hard ground such as stone, where forestry mulchers reach their limits, as well as in mixed soils, wood and earth.
The larger size
The EC-L is the larger of PTH’s two excavator crusher sizes, for excavators of 10 to 25 tonnes. It has a hydraulically adjustable feed flap as well as the discharge flap, and works to a depth of up to 150 mm. This is the 1,400 mm working width, the widest; the EC-L 1150 is the 1,150 mm one, and the EC-M 1150 suits smaller excavators of 5 to 14 tonnes.
Construction
The EC-L 1400 carries carbide-tipped stationary tools on a rotor with an overlapping tool arrangement, inside replaceable 10 mm HARDOX armour, with a mechanically adjustable HARDOX crushing stage. The tool holders wear little, and the machine can be set up as a forestry mulcher, a stone crusher or a universal version. A single-sided drive with six high-performance V-belts turns the rotor.

Fitting it to the excavator
