Konrad Combi Yarder

The Konrad Combi Yarder is a cable crane that mounts on a tracked excavator of 16 to 24 tonnes, so the excavator can run the cable crane and a harvester head at the same time, in two sizes: the Combi Yarder 2500 and 3500.

Overview
The Combi Yarder turns a tracked excavator into a cable yarding machine. It fits all common excavator models from 16 to 24 tonnes, the excavator’s tracks take it over rough ground, and the cable crane can be taken off again.
Cable crane and harvester head together
The cable crane and the harvester head work at the same time, run from the excavator, with Konrad’s KFS 16 cable crane control. Assembly is quick and safe, and the tall 11 m tower gives the lines their height.
Choosing a size
The 3500 has the heavier ropes and more pull: a 20 mm skyline tensioned to 100 kN and 35 kN on the main line, against the 2500’s 18 mm skyline at 80 kN and 25 kN. Both run 500 m lines from an 11 m tower.
