Overview
The Seve MFUL is a forestry mulcher for hydraulic excavators from 6 to 10 tonnes, combining robustness, light weight and efficiency. It handles grass and brambles as well as trees and stumps up to 250 mm in diameter, which makes it a good fit for forestry maintenance, roadside cleaning and clearing dense areas. Built for the work
The reinforced chassis lets the operator lean directly on the mulcher with the excavator, for stability while mulching. The design is simple and uncluttered, which reduces the clinging of plant debris, and the honeycomb structure adds strength without adding weight.
Rotor and drive
The rotor has a triple inverted helical profile for even cutting and better power distribution across the working width, with a single hammer profile for fast, precise crushing. An oversized belt drive reduces wear and increases longevity.
Standard equipment
Every MFUL has an integrated spray hood to protect the operator and the working area, interchangeable wear plates for a longer life, and double protection for the bearings that keeps wire and other foreign bodies out.
Hydraulics
The MFUL runs at 220 to 420 bar with a flow of 45 to 140 l/min, and cuts material from 1 to 250 mm.
Options
Options let the mulcher be fitted to the work:
- A support foot with integrated clamp for stability
- A 60° tilt for difficult terrain
- Carbide-tipped hammers for more resistance to impact and wear
- A shutter to control the direction of debris and make the working area safer

- An anti-cavitation valve to protect the hydraulic motor in a sudden stop

Choosing a width
The MFUL comes in three widths: 1.0 m, 1.25 m and 1.5 m (the MFUL/100, MFUL/125 and MFUL/150). All three run at 220 to 420 bar and 45 to 140 l/min, suit excavators of 6 to 10 tonnes and mulch to a maximum diameter of 250 mm.
