Overview
The Seve MFH is the most powerful mulcher in Seve’s range, designed to take the most power while staying light. It is for hydraulic excavators from 25 to 40 tonnes, and mows grass and brambles as well as mulching trees and stumps up to 550 mm in diameter. Exc@v8 is the sole UK importer of Seve.
Built for heavy work
The MFH is made for professional brushcutters and foresters. It deals with dense vegetation and large-diameter trees, and suits green space maintenance, land clearing and intensive forestry. The reinforced chassis lets the excavator rest directly on the frame, for stability and efficiency while mulching.
Rotor
The fixed-hammer rotor cuts precisely and efficiently, and is built for a high crushing capacity.
Hydraulics
The MFH runs at 220 to 450 bar and takes up to 480 l/min, for constant power suited to each job.
Options
Options let the mulcher be fitted to the work:
- A 60° tilt, for working on slopes and hard-to-reach ground
- A support foot with integrated clamp that can grip, hold and handle trunks, branches or stumps before mulching, which cuts handling time and adds precision
- Hammers in carbide-tipped or sharp steel
- A flap to control projections
Choosing a width
The MFH comes in three widths: 1.0 m, 1.25 m and 1.5 m (the MFH/100, MFH/125 and MFH/150). All three run at 220 to 450 bar and mulch to a maximum diameter of 550 mm. The wider the head, the more hammers it carries (15, 21 or 27) and the heavier it is (950, 1,080 or 1,150 kg). The figures in the table below are for the machine without options.
