Menzi Muck and Exc@v8 customer Kelly Earthmoving have successfully played a key part in a major landslip control and stabilisation project in the North West of England.
Working with their M545 and W135M synchronised traction winch, Kelly Earthmoving were able to safely negotiate the slipped material, regrade to specification and install the required drainage system.
The Menzi W135M winch gives synchronised and automated cable control in harmony with the excavator’s travel speed. Cable tension is maintained at all times and controlled by an ergonomic touch-screen display in the cabin, which features real-time readouts and data regarding rope tension, position and direction.
