Exc@v8 of Kendal have become one of the few non-London-based suppliers on the Crossrail Project to achieve the accolade of CLOCS Champion, for their ongoing commitment to the safety of vulnerable road users.
Building voluntarily on their Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accreditation, Exc@v8 have chosen to become involved with the Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety (CLOCS) scheme, and have been named a CLOCS Champion.
CLOCS is designed to raise operator awareness and mitigate risks to vulnerable road users, and to put in place procedures and channels for reporting accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences, so the wider community can learn and move forward from any unexpected events.
Exc@v8 wholeheartedly embraces the opportunity to be involved in the CLOCS scheme, and is incredibly proud to have achieved the title of CLOCS Champion. Exc@v8 will continue to build on this achievement and implement the CLOCS ideals nationally across all its contracts, and is the world’s only supplier of all-terrain mobile excavators, tiltrotators and excavator attachments to have achieved CLOCS Champion status.
