Pfanzelt Vehicle-Mounted Cable Winches
Pfanzelt's winch units and vehicle-mounted cable winches are a modular series for emergency, fire, military, construction and utility vehicles, with lifting and pulling forces of 30 to 160 kN, from standard recovery winches to custom systems.
- Lifting and pulling forces from 30 to 160 kN
- Hydraulic-motor or mechanical drive, largely maintenance- and wear-free
- Modular: drum widths matched to the cable length, and combinable
- Options: cable payout, electronic pull monitoring, wireless control
- For fire, rescue, military, construction and utility vehicles

Overview
Pfanzelt’s modular series of vehicle winch systems covers cable winches with lifting and pulling forces from 30 to 160 kN, with a choice of drives that are largely maintenance- and wear-free. Control and safety systems and cable winding systems can be combined to suit the operating comfort, safety and carrier vehicle required, and accessories include cable payout systems, electronic tractive force monitoring and wireless remote control.
Applications
The range extends from standard winches, such as recovery winches for fire services and technical relief organisations, to customised systems for emergency vehicles, fire-fighting, tool and equipment trucks, military vehicles, trucks for construction, landscaping and watercourse maintenance, and oil-field vehicles.
Modular system
Pfanzelt winch units are configured individually from modular components, both the unit itself and how its parts are attached: the drive can be a hydraulic motor or a mechanical linkage, and a range of drum widths, matched to the required cable length, can be combined.
